Corn is a truly ancient superfood, dating back to Mexico around 2000 BC. And the sweeter, golden stuff? That’s so 1300’s. Heirloom corn, with its variety of colors is where it’s at. Heirloom corn is known for its role in feasts and maybe less known for ceremonial and medicinal purposes. It soon became a staple for Mayans, Incas, and Aztecs.

High in fiber & vitamin C

Organic corn is a great tasting source of magnesium and  antioxidants. Corn has phytochemicals that are beneficial to heart health, hypertension, and blood sugar. It’s also a common gluten-free ingredient to make alternatives for bread, tortillas, and other snacks.
