Here are some of our favorite San Diego farmer’s markets:
Ocean Beach Farmer’s Market
OB already breeds the perfect blend of hippie-beach, but on Wednesdays from 4-8pm, you can experience this magic in full force. Right along Newport Avenue, you can enjoy endless booths filled with yummy eats, art, and flowers with the sight of the sun setting over the ocean. It is the perfect environment to grab a bite to eat while listening to the live music. OB Farmer’s Market is always such a fun time and a great place just to hang out.
Little Italy Farmer’s Market
On Saturdays from 8am to 2pm, you can enjoy the holy grail of all farmer’s markets in San Diego. Although parking may be a little tough, once you are inside, you can explore the wide array of vendors, ranging from hummus to succulents. Little Italy’s market houses so many food options, catering to the vegans, gluten-frees, and even the paleo lovers. Shoppers love to bring their dogs too!

Hillcrest Farmer’s Market
What better way to enjoy a Sunday morning than to stroll the streets of the Hillcrest Farmer’s Market. These booths carry nearly every type of food. Whether you’re craving East African or Thai, they’ve got it. Hillcrest always has such talented local artists showing off their amazing work. It is also a great place to pick up some fresh produce to cook for your Sunday meal. So you can buy both delicious foods while supporting local farmers.
