Learn why we’re taking lessons from ancient civilizations and see why the earliest ‘superfoods’ are making a comeback.

Cacao

Cacao might be unfairly associated with sugary processed foods. The cacao bean in its natural form is actually nutrient dense and even called “heart blood” for its healthy benefits when it comes to the cardiovascular system.

Not only is cacao fiber filled and rich in iron and antioxidants, it makes you happy. Literally. Cacao is known to release endorphins and serotonin into the brain giving you a sense of euphoria and bliss.
